Brief Description |
In an effort to prevent abuse of prescription medications and protect the environment, Drug Free Collier hosted "Operation Medicine Cabinet" on November 17, 2007. Over 1,000 bottles of unused or expired prescription medication were collected and safely discarded.
Permanent drop-off sites have been established as well, to encourage citizens to bring their unused or expired medications for proper disposal.
