Residents can properly and safely dispose of unwanted or over-the-counter medications at no charge at four convenient locations. Flushing medications down the drain can contaminate our water supply and throwing away medications in the trash can lead to accidental swallowing by children and pets or theft. Simply take your medications to one of the Hazardous Waste Collection Centers or call 334-0440.

Bring your unwanted pharmaceuticals to a participating location and empty medications into the provided disposal container. Take your empty container home and remove labels prior to disposal. Only products in pill, capsule or liquid form can be accepted. The medications will be properly managed as a hazardous waste and will eliminated any environmental concerns.
