Brief Description |
In the spring of 2008, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation began a comprehensive campaign to reduce pharmaceutical contamination in public water sources. The program has produced educational materials on proper medicine disposal for consumers and pharmacies, aimed primarily at increasing medication take-back at authorized collection sites.
