Brief Description |
Project Rx came about in 2010 as a collaboration among local organizations in the Upstate of South Carolina. Project Rx is all about “protecting our rivers and our residents by properly disposing of medicine,” whether it be for environmental protection, pharmaceutical education, or drug abuse prevention. Stop by any of our drive-thru locations to dispose of your household's unwanted or unused prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, and pet medications. Remember to use a black permanent marker to block out any personal information on labels, but leave the drug name visible to ensure proper disposal procedures.
